It need not necessarily writing in a formal way; it could be written in a way to ignite emotions in the mind and heart. Here the writer has to create an image through words and not just tell it. You have to paint a picture that the reader can read through their eyes and create in their minds. While doing so you can use other writing techniques like metaphors, similes, hyperboles, undertones, irony, puns, and so on. You can also use the \u201cpoint of view\u201d technique with the help of your character.
